Dan began his career at a major Dallas firm in 1974, and moved to Austin in 1982. His 36 years of practice have been largely focused on representing business entities, entrepreneurs, and investors in a wide array of corporate and business transactions, including merger and acquisition transactions and equity and debt financing transactions. His experience spans several business sectors, both public and private, and includes serving as general counsel of an Austin-based telecommunications company that developed markets in Mexico and Central America. He is an alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin and the The University of Texas Law School where he graduated with honors and served as an editor of The Texas Law Review.

She authored and periodically updates the "Employee Safety and Health - Chapter 10" in James Publishing's Texas Employment Law. Her early experience managing an organization with 38 employees and a multi-million dollar budget provided unique opportunities for understanding and appreciating the challenges presented to small to medium-sized employers. Ross had over 18 years of experience with large law firms prior to joining the firm. His legal practice focuses on intellectual property and technology law with an emphasis on litigation, patent prosecution, and intellectual property portfolio management in a variety of technology areas, including chemical (such as polymer science and biochemistry), nanotechnology, semiconductor, and computer technologies. Ross is recognized as one of the leaders in the field of nanotechnology. He has worked closely with nanotechnologists to procure and license their technologies, and his work assisting scientists at the Richard E. Smalley Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology at Rice University and the Alan G. MacDiarmid Nanotech Institute at the University of Texas at Dallas has resulted in some of the most important patents for producing and manipulating carbon nanotubes. Mr. Garsson is currently on the Board of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship (Houston) and the Steering Committee of the Austin Rice Alliance. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Austin Gifted School (Ace Academy). Ross received his J.D. degree from the University of Texas after earning a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Rice University.

Rodney’s 32 year legal career includes extensive experience in business and corporate law, securities, finance, taxation, real estate and litigation. Having served as general counsel for a NASDAQ traded biotechnology company for fifteen years, he is experienced in the issues that face management and boards of directors of publicly traded companies, including securities regulation, corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley, employment matters, stockholder relations, directors’ and officers’ insurance, risk management, and resolution of disputes, including mediation, arbitration and litigation. His biotechnology experience includes management of legal issues in clinical trials of new drug candidates, including multi-country Phase 3 trials. Mark began his legal career over twenty years ago with a prominent national law firm based in California. Following ten years in its Los Angeles and San Francisco offices - with a practice focused on creditors' rights and the reorganization of distressed companies - he joined one of the Silicon Valley's largest firms. In the Silicon Valley, Mark transitioned his practice to mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions for technology companies. In 2002 he returned to Austin, subsequently completing graduate studies in accounting. Mark joined the accounting faculty of the University of Texas at Austin in 2006, where he currently teaches courses in auditing and advanced financial accounting. Mark also served as Professor in Residence at a "Big Four" accounting firm. His practice is devoted primarily to corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions. Mark holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa and M.B.A., M.P.A., and J.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the State Bars of Texas and California.

Peter began his career at a small Houston creditor's rights firm in 1982 and moved to Austin in 1987 where he continued to practice in the area of creditor's rights, with a primary focus on consumer bankruptcy law. He changed careers in 2000 when he accepted employment with Merrill Lynch where he became a financial advisor, and thereafter with Wells Fargo Investments, LLC. Peter currently maintains an Of Counsel relationship with Matheson Keys Garsson & Kordzik where he practices corporate law, as well as being an approved Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority("FINRA" f/k/a/"NASD"). Peter received his B.A. from University of St. Thomas, Houston, and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
